Mid and late game is narcotics.
Narcotics, as you know, give 2 xp each.
all you need to mass produce them is a raptor or better, and a trike or better.
Narcotics can be easily traded for literally anything... very good source of currency
For crafting, yes, narcotics are the simplest and probably fastest way to level semi early. Building the base is very good as well, but takes time to get all the materials (since you need late game dinos for faster resource collection)
Mid to late game getting a good combat dino will give the fastest xp depending on server difficulty, and you can save up the meat for more narcotics.
In combination with base building or hunting, very easy experience.
I've always wondered, once you start crafting a bunch of Narcotics, or anything else really, do you have to stay within range to get the xp? I've always tried to stay close to my base when crafting large batches just in case.
I haven't tested this, but if you are in render distance it will definitely work, but i'm curious if the game carries on the calculations if you move out of render distance.
If you started the batch, I've gone as far as east coast to west coast and was still getting xp.
However, shared xp is much shorter distance.
