duplication of painted flags? possible?

So you spend alot of time painting up your flag to make it look good, but then if you want the same thing on another flag you have to paint again.

So... im wondering if:

1) are flags stackable
2) if you pick up a painted flag does it keep what you painted on it?
3) if 1 is possible, if you stack flags onto the painted flag, does this effectively make those flags painted as well, like say stackable skined items do?

You plant a flag, then paint it, if you pick it up, the painting disappears.

bah that sucks... would be nice to be able to duplicate your painting to other signs, that way you could paint a emblem for your tribe, and put the flags around your base.

Answer: The painting design saving/loading system will be coming shortly, then you’ll be able to keep your wonderful artworks even if you take the flags down!

yeah Soon™, but Soon™ dictation of things in the digest, as well as mentioned things lead to a undetermined time frame, until they show up as 'upcoming' in the patch notes you have no idea if/when they will be added or if they were totally dropped, and with the patch notes, even that dictates the items can be sitting in there for a month and still not be added into the game thus far.
