Alpha loot

i thought the patch description proclaimed the rare alphas would have even better loot ?? i have enough rex bone helmet skins and trike skins , and prime meat really isnt any reward since we can get it en masse anyways ,

I killed an alpha raptor last night. I picked up 2 high end metal picks and a high end crossbow off of it.

Yup, I just killed an Alpha Raptor and got a Journeyman Crossbow and an Apprentice Crossbow. Pretty cool.

Interesting..Ive killed multiple alpha raptors, carnos and 2 rexes on official pve 441 and havent gotten anything other then meat and a helm..

Dont eat body with dino check it first manually. Dino does not always get the loot sadly. Found that out after killing 20+ alpha raptors.

I've noticed that my Argent has a higher chance than my other mounts of getting the loot off bodies, oddly enough.

What is the best way to kill alphas? I just lost my whole dino army to one alpha raptor! On the damned beach.

Best way is with a high level Argent. Like level 200+ with at least 5k HP and 1k melee. Be careful not to get stuck under Alpha Rex's like my tribe mate did. Nearly lost his 10k HP and 1.5k melee Argent last night to a level 64 Alpha Rex. Argent is the only dino where you can choose if you want to leave. Alpha's keep up with everything else and Ptera's are no match for even a level 1 alpha

Yep. I was using a level 120 ptera as my mount with 2 carnos and some dimos following me. Was going to look for trilobytes. I landed and was getting ready to kill a trilo when this alpha raptor came out of nowhere and killed everything I had with me. Luckily I killed it with a high level pike right before my flak armor failed.

i killed about 10 raptor and 3-4 rex and got oly tryke and trex helmet skin and tons of primemeat

Doesnt work for alphas. I had an alpha raptor body with the loot option on foot, took a bow off it then ate it with looting enabled on rex. didnt get the berries and stuff it still had on it.

Thats odd, it worked for me on all the alphas ive killed so far with my argentavis

I barely find any alpha in the first place... All the alpha raptor i killed didn't had an inventory and dropped only prime. Any tips to find more alpha ?
