How to get dino to attack your target?

I've been looking in to all the settings for this like passive, neutral, aggressive etc, and with the game having had so many changes and updates and patches i don't know what options are for what.

Obviously I know passive is pretty much defenceless. They won't fight at all. Is Neutral they only fight if you or they are attacked?

What I also really want to know is if I have some dinos, and I go and hit another dino what setting do i need for my tamed dinos to be on to join in an attack whatever i've attacked?

And can you make a group setting? Like I have tamed 9 Dodo's, can I set them all at once to the same thing?

yes. press "esc" go to option and read all the shotcuts you will find what you're looking for.

Period is defalt "attack this" whistle. Re-map it if you wish, and get a dino in mid screen and push the button... off they go!
