I have 0 eggs in my base...
EDIT:the eggs arrived!!!!!:-) Not so many but arrived, made also by males, but they arrived:-)
The problem is there shouldnt be such a need. First increased by 200% than another 50% than 2x when they are mate boosted, but what is the point if 90% of them are going to the nether. And I doubt there will be nice locations "if" the base generally is already in a bad spot.
First, I agree, it should not be an issue, you just kind of stated the obvious. However, I've found a few spots inside my breeding pens, fairly specific spots, where if I leave the dino there, they will consistently lay eggs without falling through the world. If I move the dino to another spot inside the pen and put a different one there, I can consistently get their egg. So while it isn't a fix, being able to see the eggs in real time will indeed make it easier to find a good spot until the Dev's figure out how to fix it.
