Players being pulled?
So a friend and I are playing on "local play" i go over 150 yards from him and he gets dragged to me, how can i fix this? its pretty stupid

Working as intended. Pretty sure it was covered in the patch notes? At least I'm pretty sure it was... It was made that way (currently) to minimise the strain on the host system. I believe they're looking at making it a scalable slider later on, for now it's intended as a 'co-op only' sort of thing, so working together (i.e not very far apart) and all that jazz.

I'm not sure if its possible, but you can try running the game as a dedicated on your machine, and simultaneously play the game? That is to say, use something like maybe Ark's Server Manager to run the game. And then when its up. You play Ark through Steam normally and try to connect to that server.

From what I see running the game on my laptop as a dedicated, the dedicated server doesn't really take alot of resources and requires maybe average processing. I've been doing it this way for a few weeks now using my laptop as the dedi and my brothers and I connecting to it via our desktops.
