Are there no other anomalies?
Not among the parameters Afterburner monitors. If anyone has any suggestions on other things I should monitor and programs I could use to monitor them, any info would be appreciated.
I'll monitor my CPU next time I play to see if there is anything out of the ordinary going on there.
same here on a 970, done a few tests, the problem seems to be client side, i cant nail it down, but i feel it has something to do with something on the draw call list devouring ram, if you run some in game tests youll notice most of the spikes are when you move or look the majority of the time. (wierldly it happens almost every single time attempting to paint metal)
upon monitoring the games process ive noticed it goes in and out of "not responding" constantly as well.
could possibly be Nvidia windows 10 drivers, as the issue was not happening on 192.0 until the update to windows 10 and the Nvidia driver update (obviously)
I did state before on another post, that i do believe this is related to the 2GB update that unpacked a large amount of the files to aid streamers and other complainers in getting a faster load speed...
I would much rather have a longer load speed, and have a smooth gameplay experience, than faster load times and choppy gameplay.
yeah its a driver or client issue with the Nvidia windows 10 drivers, sadly we will have to wait for one of the 2 to update and see if that fixes the issue.
wish the ark nvidia drivers were windows 10 compatible, they were running super baby butt smooth.
funny thing is too, this problem didnt occur for me right away, only after a day or so.....at first i was running real smooth on windows 10 with the nvidia drivers, saw a minor increase in performance too (5 frames or so) then these stutters started and havent stopped, almost unplayable.
Core i5 2500 (not k) 3.3ghz
16gb ddr3 ram
GTX 770 2gb
I've noticed my Frames and GPU plummit and go red when the freezes happen the other two are green..
after that, i have the problem outisde of even painting....maybe the paint UI has a memory leak?
