Compound Bow Shake

I just got the compound bow and wow.... that shake... i actully shoot a real compound bow with fingers and i know for sure... it does not shake, this isnt a recurve bow so your not really holding alot of poundage once fully pulled back due to the cams (wheels) making the poundage half or more.

Please take of the shake but do a tiny sway.

They do need to fix this. they also need to add ranged weapons that are worth using against dinos. Wow you just spent and hour to make 50 metal arrows? Well you can kill about 5 parasours with those! Or you could just poke them with a pike about 5 times.

I honestly thought metal arrows would be the same as stone arrows, except flint being replaced by metal. Each crafting cycle would yield about 5 arrows (thatch and fiber cost have to be raised to compensate). Instead we got super overpriced arrows that can only be used with the new bow.

If shaking was removed, the bow would be OK in my opinion.

Even a crossbow can one shot a parasour in the head. With the compound bow and 50 metal arrows, you're on a killing spree.

I haven't gotten the compound, but I would have figured that would be one of the benefits.
Expected Bow Breakdown:
Basic Bow:
Pros - Easy to make, Easy to repair, Repair in the field,
Cons - Lowest damage, low durability, Cant fire metal arrows, can't fire underwater, Shakes at full draw

Crossbow:
Pros - Larger Durability, highest damage, fires underwater, no shake
Cons - Can't repair in the field, Can't fire metal arrows, slower fire rate, heavy weight, moderate build and repair cost

Compound Bow:
Pros - Largest Durability, medium/high damage, no shake, can fire metal arrows
Cons - Can't repair in the field, highest build and repair cost, medium weight, cant fire underwater

I terms of range weapons apprently compound bow good agasint armour dinos and players... but fact it shakes so much for a COMPOUND bow that ment to not shake at all you will barely hit anyone. Even if it completely still it will be hard to hit someone as its got an ark flight so u gotta judge the range and hight. Only thing that is fine is a small sway as you wont always keep a bow still + wind.

Agreed. I've taken down Level 70 Sabres with 4-5 metal arrows. It's a great weapon now.

Yea but 3-4 stabs with a Pike kills the same Saber. Without the cost of replacing arrows. I'm fine with the bow, the arrows are just too expensive though.

Because crossbow is alot easyer to shoot underwater than a bow, shooting a bow underwater would be very unaccurate and hard to maintain balanace plus the power from the bow to shoot. You should be able to shoot above water into water but not in the water with a bow.

Crossbows are easyer to use underwater as it holds the poundage for you plus can hold more power than a bow. So a normal person could only pull 20 pound wait per say and no more... while that person could shoot a crossbow that does 100 pound.

Stone arrows are easy to aquire from killing Carnivores... i havnt made any stone arrows since i started cus i farm them off them. They should do the same for Metal Arrows on something, Mini boss's or boss's themself.

Only thing they could reduce from the resources need for metal arrows is metal ignots to 1.

Unles they intruduce plastic which can be made from oil and coal to replace polymer needed or actully change polymer to oil and coal to make.
