it works for every game?
For me, this game only uses 4 cores of my 8 core CPU, even with the command entered.
Before the command, it still used 4 cores.
Memory 2.6 gig mem before launch 8.96 gig with game running
I am not using any commands to launch the game
Now i think i can play smothly...thankx all.
Editing.: I think i made ♥♥♥♥, i put that on menu -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -sm4 -d3d10
The graphics was like FarCry 1,damm very ugly...what i did wrong..?
-sm4 -d3d10 means you're forcing the game to run on DX10 with shader model and light effects of DX10 thats why the game looks crap, but i use it too, since it makes my framerate go from 15 (outside, no rain) to 40
better ♥♥♥♥♥♥ look than lagging in fights with dinos ;)
edit: most people cant see s*** at night with this launch options, you need to turn your gamma up a little and it should be fine
Sorry to bring up an old post. But I get the same. Have a AMD FX 8300 8 core and cant seem to go above 4 even with the code. Any ideas?
Are all cores enabled on your actual pc?
yes
And yes
Id like to add, for me this game runs way better on quadcores with HT off
