Relatar problema de tradução
Yeah, that's my main problem is the multi-word tribe name. I couldn't figure it out so I just had my tribe mate who is an admin invite me back when he finally got online.
To locate this ID number look on your saved arks folder on the server there you will see a bunch of numeric.arktribe files. these files contain everything about the tribes on the server. they can be opened with any text editor such as notepad++ and viewed to see the data and discover which numeric.arktribe file is the tribe you need by going to the 5th line where the tribe name will be located.
once You find the writen name just use the number of the file(for example 1182934298.arktribe) as the tribe id.
doesn't work
Like I said currupted tribe files! The tribe data no longer exist in the data base! I check truu each and every .arktribe file.! My tribe was no longer there, same with some other people. So there was no ID for that tribe. But yet the walls, dinos and everything else said that "blabla" tribe was the owner even thought it´s not in the database.
had a similardelemma I had to use the giveme command to get every single object back to a new tribe unfortuntly, and yes works on dinos as well just takes a while, it helps if you have a friend thats in your tribe you don't mind giving admin to for a while.
Yeah I know, that´s what I´ve been forced to do aswell. But can´t continue like this, takes to much time just to fix something that should be simple and fast!
I found out another solution, which works when you are serveradmin:
The cheat command is simple: GiveToMe
You can either create your own new tribe,or join the tribe from the person who left all items.
The you go to EVERY structure parts, dinos etc and use "cheat givetome". It's a lot of work, but works for me...
Too much work when you have a massive base and a ton of dinos. Plus you are no longer in the tribe that you were in before, you have to make your own, which defeats the purpose. Plus the givetome command has flaws. For example, if you use it on a dino that was not previously tamed then yes, the dino is tamed, but you can't access it's inventory. Not sure if it works the same way for dinos that were already tamed.
We already talked about this earlier and said that it takes TO LONG! So this is not a solution! Especially not a solution we didn´t already know about! U need atleast 10admins to help 1 guy! With this method! And it will probably still take u 30-60min to help ONE guy! NOT acceptable!
"* Added admin command to force-join a tribe by looking at anything the tribe owns, and force-promote yourself in a tribe, and take over founder role of a tribe
cheat ForcePlayerToJoinTargetTribe PlayerID (0 for you)
(that will put you/playerID into the tribe of whatever you're pointing at, if it's a tribe structure/character)
cheat MakeTribeAdmin
cheat MakeTribeFounder
cheat RemoveTribeAdmin"
Will test this when I get home since I was able to rejoin my tribe but am no longer the tribe owner.
My character is broken because I added too much xp way back when you had to write in different levels in the ini. Now my character's xp is higher then the level up so it can't go backwards to the correct level up. I'm trying to create a new character and transfer everything but nothing works.
After much experimentation I have determined that this only works if there are other members of the tribe on the server. If you are trying to do it on a single player server with something like hardcore, or even regular single player, it doesn't work.
I assume this is because of the fact that if the tribe has no currently active members the tribe technically does not exist even though the structures built by that tribe do.
But I can confirm that on a private dedicated server with two tribe members in the tribe who are currently alive the "forceplayertojointargettribe" works if you go to the admin manager, click on the player id you want to add to the tribe, then click on the command and hit execute, copy player id, then execute.
You should see a message on the left that says you were added.
Then you can take it a step further and make yourself the founder with the maketribefounder cheat. I have tested this twice and it works as long as the tribe has members.
However when I went into single player and did the same thing it did not work.
