Offensive names on servers. Unacceptable.
I was on official 40 yesterday and some person had the name F**k N****rs (offensive term for black person) The tribe name was similar and intended to cause offense / express an extreme racist view.

A bit of anarchy on a PVP server is nessesary but there a line and it's being crossed all the time because of zero moderation. Not even a banned words list.

Failure to take even simple steps to prevent behaviour that is actually illegal in most countries is unacceptable.

Hopefully this doesnt get lost in the noise. ♥♥♥♥ the developers.

They pretty much said there's nothing they can do about it because there are ways around the filters, yet other games do a pretty good job stopping this sort of behavior. /shrug

What it comes down to is they have ZERO moderation for the official servers and that needs to change.

At least the most coomin offensive terms can be filtered id imagine.................. maybe the devs just havent had the time to get to it......

In canada we dont have racist people who shoot black people because we keep an eye on that kind of person .

Doesn't offend me and I am black myself. I don't identify myself with that word so it has no affect on me. This person only used it to ruffle feathers of people who give such a word power. Drawing attention to them is only giving them exactly what they want.

Server 40 is PVP. We had a guy log into server 82 with the guild name of Klu Klux Klan, and pretty much the entire server came to the immediate (and vocal) conclusion that this guy needed to die a lot.

Long story short, we found him and fed him to the sarco he was asking people to come and tame. And promised to keep doing that. Dude changed his tribe name, and eventually logged off. He hasn't been back on the server since, as far as I know.

Long story short, I love ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like this in PVP games, because they might as well paint a giant target on their foreheads that says 'I'm an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, please grief me until I cry'. But that's just me. Yeah, there should probably be some kind of filter for something like the n-word, but in the meantime...you're on a PVP server. Take advantage.

Thick skin? really? My beef is not with the idiot with the offensive name - jerks will be jerks. My issue is with the negligence of the developers. How about you grow a spine and take a stand against racism, sexism etc. Standing by and doing nothing because its not your problem eventually ends up with people being fed into ovens. Never again. We all do our part.

Although i think a game and an oven is quiteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee a stretch lol i do belive something needs to be done.

There is real racism in the world, some basement dweller trying to get attention and troll while playing a video game is not worth the effort.

they have more important stuff to care about, like ACTUAL GAME MECHANICS
what if i start whinning that spiders and scorpions offend me because aracnophobia or some ♥♥♥♥ and demand they remove them all?

I really don't get why people let words bother them so much. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words may never hurt me. Only you can give words power against you.

Seriously. Grow thicker skin.

These kids aren't genuinely racists. They are doing it because they think it's funny to get a rise out of you and they know nothing's going to happen to them behind the anonymity of the Internet.
