How to use generator?

I know it needs gasoline, but how do I use it to power fridges an other appliances? And where do I put the gasoline?

Gas goes in the inventory of the generator. You use cables and outlets to power the appliances from there.

Use the cables and connect them from the generator to what you want, and put the outlet at the end of the cable, it will automatically connect everything (lamp, fridge, turrets) in its range.

Connect a Cable to the Generator, then connect an OUTLET onto the cable, it doesnt have to be at the end, just anywhere on the cable.

Turn the Generator on and your good to go.

you can place a generator underwater, you just can't start it

thanks for the reply guys, how do I know when to refill it with gasoline? how long does 1 tank go for?
