Do I need the actual recipe to make it?

I'm using step by step instructions on the lazardus chowder recepie and it is not working
3 servings of meat

5 Savoroot
5 Longrass
1 handful of Mejoberries (10)
1/2 dollop of Narcotic (2)
Submerge in Water
Cook in a Cooking Pot (1 minute)

I've never got the "medical brew" one but I've made plenty.

Make sure you have nothing else in the cook pot other than the fuel and a full waterskin.

3 servings of meat means 9 cooked meat

No recipe needed, no exact amount needed, so you can put 30 cooked meat, 20 of each veggies, 100 mejos, 6 narcs, do some juggling putting full waterskins and removing charcoal (if you use wood, so mejos + 2 charcoal wouldn't turn into purple dye), and you'll eventually get 3 lazarus over time one by one. Cooking time is around when second charcoal appear, guess it is 1 minute :).

Cooking time is about one minute and use thatch or sparkpowder. Try and stick away from the wood in the cooking pot because the charcol can mess with the recipes.

Only in recipes requiring 15 berries or more though. Of course if you want to cook several batches at once...
