you obviously have no idea how psychology works. if someone has a deep deep fear of something it doesnt matter if its RL a game a picture, that deep fear is strong, my sister is insanely terrified of oceans if she even gets near a large enough lake she damn near rips my car door off trying to get away from it
You can maybe edit the insects out of the game when you play local only. Some of the forum guys here are good editors of the game ini and may help you out with that.
Why should he? One week ago there were no insects AT ALL and you enjoyed the game, didn't you?
However you can run snigleplayer or a private server and use server settings that turn the ant and spider spawns off. There is a whole page on the ARK wiki about serversettings.
I personally use these settings to turn down Rex spawns (4 rexes attacking in like 15 minutes is just too much for me), but it should also work to turn ants and spiders down to zero.
Again: I am not asking the developer to remove them. I am aware that for a lot of you it adds the thrill. OK. I just asked if anybody knows about a mod to deal with it...
