be sure to save after you make a change
ps. this works with mods aswell i use Ark Reborn
(i used GOD mode on singleplayer put difficulty upto 5 and see lvl 178 croc)
if ratio isn't 1:1 you will be breaking tools faster than you get resources or getting insane resources super fast because stuff has low health.
example: the rocks you pick up are 1 pickup for 1 rock. if i were to make the health be 10, but leave the amount at 1, it would take 10 pickups to make the rock actually give me the rock. conversely, if i were to set amount to 10 and health stay at 1, 1 pickup would yield 10 rocks.
now, if you change both numbers you need to divide the amount into the health. 20 health and 10 amount would take you 20 pickups to deplete the rock, and you would get 10 in that time, about 1 every two pickups.
seems a lot of people are confused on this system and think health means the node lasts longer and thus should give more resources, but that is not what it is changing at all.
hope this clears things up a bit.
This is independent on how much over the gather rate is (6x, 10x, 40x, 50x etc.). This worked perfectly fine in the last update (212.1), but made my game crash in 213.0.
would like to find a sloution to this as I do not have tiome to sit two hours in game just to get 50 metal.
The ARK staff states in the 213.0 patch note: "Host Session UI no longer clamps the numeric values by sliders (i.e. you can input beyond-range values into the text boxes and they'll hold)"
I assume this means that I should be able to input a higher value than the slider indicates, but as mentioned before. This does not work, and it crashes my game.
This is due to the resources counting up 1 at a time and your computer trying to do all that at once. I am trying to find a solution, due to some servers having it collect all at once. Cannot figure out how to change to collect all resources at once rather than counting up 1 at a time.
