Move items?
When im moving, is there a way to pick an item back up and move it? Like a bed or mortar? Or do I have to trash it and get half the resources back?

Yea, I've been suggesting this for months.

Basically, if you can move it in REAL LIFE, you should be able to move it in game.

  • Dodos & Dilos - You should be able to pick up a Dodo and carry it in your arms and set it down
  • Containers - The Basic Storage Containers should be moveable. The Metal Vault... is iffy, but I still feel like you should be able to move it by attaching a special craftable harness to a Dino (like a Trike) - for realism
  • Beds - Beds and Sleeping Bags should be moveable as well as visually upgradeable by Blueprint. Like... why can I make an advanced Fabricator... but my bed is like 2 pieces of wood barely being held together by stripes of Hide?
  • Crafting Stations - Smithys should be easily moveable, and maybe things like a Fabricator should be moveable by 2 Tribe Members (because it's heavy - for realism)

yes... oddly all containers, beds and crafting stations can't be moved. apparently you bolt them to the foundations and the only way to move them is to destroy them and get 1/2 the resources back. You can pick up and move a sleeping bag, though they are only 1 time use items.

the smithy should be able to be moved

The forge or fabricator, do to the sheer weight these items should have after being constructed it should make it impossible for a single individual to move them..

all the chest containers should be able to be moved.

beds should be able to be moved.

Refrigerators, air conditioning units, preserving bins, feeding troughs should also be able to be moved.

but... thats just how I look at it.
