Claim Dino from non existing Tribe Member

I have a strange problem. My daughter made a new char by accident. Now her dinos still exist with a red name and cant be claimed or killed. Any suggestions how we can claim them or get rid of them? Her old char was not saved or downloaded. We have or own Server with PVE settings.

Thought there was an admin command to destroy Dino's? Maybe that was for all not sure.
Could you turn the server to pvp just long enough to dispose of them then turn it back to PVE maybe?

Dont think there's a way to claim them back, but you could let them starve to get rid of them

If you are on a private server in which you are an admin you can use the command "cheat givetome" while pointing at a dino. This command gives ownership of the dino to whoever typed the command. You can then treat it like any other dino you own. You can unclaim it and let her reclaim it or you can use the admin command from her computer and give the dino directly to her.

I lost my singleplayer character and tried this; the dino becomes mine but can't be ridden or whistled. Also, they're on aggressive mode now and I can access their inventory but not the saddle.

it seem there's a bug or 5, that sometimes make the dino unaccessible after using the givetome command in singleplayer!!!
I've tried it a couple of times to see, and 2 out of 5 attempts ended in not rideable, commandable nor accessible ... I tried the same thing twice!! First time, I did it on dods, second time on sabers .. 1 of 5 got blocked ... I can't figure out why, but it still happens!!!
I unclaimed them, and retried .. at no vail!! re unclaim, tranq to sleeping, didn't fix it!!!
If you are using the command to get your self a dino and this happens .. you can ride it by Forcetame ( but no inventory, but you don't need a saddle to ride ) or dispose of them!!!

It seem to be working on servers tho!!!!

I've grabbed a few as admin on my server to help players getting stuck, and never had any issue at all!!

I would put this on the bug forums, Devs respond to bugs there. At least from my experience they do. Well they responded once and didnt fix the issue BUT I think they are helping others, at least you are likely to get a proper response.

thanks guys! you are real life savers! i just had the same issue. i died last night and then suddenly all of my dinos became not mine. i didnt lose any of my items but the dinos got unclaimed or something so i just looked at them and went "givetome" and now its all back to normal! =]
