What is the best explosive for raiding bases?

i know that C4 is the strongest explosive, but i was wondering what is the most ressourceful explosive? which explosive deals the most damage considering its cost?

and is it different from depending on the structures? like, Grenades for wood and stone, and C4 for metal? or how?

IEDs are the most cost effective vs. metal, grenades vs everything else.

Grenades, they are easy to make and the AOE damage is straight up ownage.

thank you because i tried to use IED's yesterday. at first i couldnt even throw it on the ground on the beach with no buildings around me, which means it bugged out. and afterwards i found out that IED's cant be placed on to enemy structures. which means you can exactly just run in and throw it in the middle. but yea IED's were definitly cool to use in last nights raid, although a bit suicidal

You can trigger them by shooting.
