5 jerky every couple hours (real hours), and your eggs are safe for 79 days. whats the issue?
great idea.. how about we let every stack of meat spoil at once too?
ok, so they let you dry all meat simultaneously. Then they make the recipe require 20 jerky. back to square one.
ahhh!!! ive been searching for this.
so, its confirmed that 3 sparkpowder produces 1 jerky? ive been trying to search for this 'formula' of sorts so that I don't have to waste excess sparkpowder trying to jerk all my meat. teehee. Me and my woman just finished a large Jerkin room in our base; so im very curious of this fact so that I can get producing tonight.
TL;DR:
so 1 oil, 1 cooked meat, and 3 sparkpowder is exactly 1 jerky?
Snigle.
it does make sense, because this game is just that....a game. NOT real life. balancing takes into effect.
and it is NOT a time sync at all, before you log off throw some meat and some oil and spark powder in 6-8 preserving bins. tada 100+ jerky over night that keeps ina frig basically FOREVER! this is NOT an issue at all.
eventually with all these complaints i feel like this game is going to be released on the Disney Infinity once its all said and done.
The real purpose I see in kibble is to make use of the different tools. Crops which include their own bit of requirements and preservation bins which require the meat ofc and oil.
I don't think the devs intended this to be a time sink, where you to sit and watch the grass grow, its suppose to be a build up over time and then bam, you realize you have enough to go get that 160 t-rex.
LOL
ahhh whatever
This exactly, we have same problem.
-Also, it should do the first piece of every stack pr. jerkied meat imho. Not the whole stack.
Now that I have refrigerators setup, I've noticed that this doesn't happen when the ONLY things in the preserving bin are sparkpowder, oil, and cooked prime meat.
Previously, my bin had the new dino eggs in it, too, which were likely screwing up the whole process. The game was likely trying to make dodo egg jerky or something.
We had absolutely nothing else in it than 6 cooked prime meat and a couple of stacks of cooked meat. Put in 2x100 spark powder 100 oil. 70 oil later I had six prime meat jerky and 13 cooked meat jerky... It stopped somewhere in the process but still used the oil..
