Why do we trigger our own Tripwires ?
Why the hell do we trigger our own traps ? This is quite stupid tbh, should recognize if it's someone from the tribe or anyone else.

You tell that little wire that when you step on it that it's ok but if an unknown boot steps on it then it's allowed to freak out.

If you did not set off your own trip wires people would have 50 million tripwires everywhere in their base.

They listed right in the patch notes why they did this. You should read the updates before you complain about them.

Did I just get the attention from a dev by making a joke? I feel so.... nice.

Not triggring your own tripe wires makes sense if your luring an enemy into a trap and get them to follow you you would know where the wire is ergo you would step over it a trip wire is not going to go off unless you trip on it ergo you know where it is you simply dont step on it. its not hard to step over it but due to the limitations in the game engine the animation cannot display this ergo the game shouldn't trigger the trap when you move over it

Trip wires don't care who you are. Just be extra careful around where you know you set them. It's not like they have an IFF receiver on them or something.

Let me expain why this is invalid logic

You are leading some one into a trap. you reach the trip wire because you know where it is it is IMPLIED that you STEP OVER the wire which is quite easy and completely intuitive however there is no STEP OVER button in the game ergo the trap should assume you are not a F&*$Tard and respect that this is how the player would realistically behave around their own traps. This is completely logical and a valid idea and frankly the dev team frankly last in line when common sense was being handed out.

Step over? How about you just ACTUALLY REMEMBER WHERE IT IS AND WALK AROUND IT?
