Flyer stuck in the sky

I have a flyer stuck in the sky, how do I get it down? If I tell it to follow it just stays in the sky, spinning around at the same height, if I set it to not follow it just flys around at the same height. Setting it to neutral, attack target etc does nothing, it wont come down.

Get a spyglass, focus on a dodo, then hit the "." (period key) and it should attack the dodo.. hence coming down.. just a suggestion..

same thing happened to me yesterday with and argentavis,it was set to follow me but kept spinning at the same height, after an hour trying to get him to follow me i killed the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and closed the game!! Same thing with trying to get a plesiosaur back to my base it kept getting stuck it took me like 2 hours to get him to my base.

yeah but after the dodo's dead he would follow a lil bit then get stuck again and start spinning again

If you have a second flyer make it follow it then fly to a mountain of the same height it is at, then put a saddle on it and ride it and your problem is solved. It has happened to me before and this is the only solution i have found.

I have had that problem and I found out it was because they were overweight. I had to hit them with a tranq to knock them down then unload the extra weight.
