Jokes aside but damn it would be nice if we could have something like a marketplace where we can trade stuff .

The grinding is getting really out of control , what on earth were u guys thinking :P

You can probably make place like that. You need just building, storage box which are accessible from two sides, items and price list. It is also possible to sell dinos (unclaim/claim). Only thing which I am missing is some bulletproof window.

I will try to make Dodo (later also Dilo, Raptor, ...) arena on our server :) it could be really fun. Betting, price for winners, etc., we will se how it will work. It could lure some people AND after lets say beta testing of arena, we will create marketplace close to it :)

On the server I play on I and a few others will soon begin work on a few trading post structures throughout the map. We will also be building some community use hunting/taming lodges and a new revised arena for, somewhat, friendly PvP. FollowYourDreams!
Areas like this are up to the community to create and maintain. Just gotta find a server with a community willing to do this. That's why you should FollowYourDreams @ the server select ;)

Serriously though, I think bartering can be fun. Even with tribemates, not to mention other friendly tribes or other players. I have a tribemate who knows the engrams for some of the high tier saddles that I don't. When he's made a saddle for me he already has tons of hides, so he doesn't want more from me to make them. So I usually give him a bunch of fiber instead, and we are both happy. And to be honest I don't find fiber that hard to gather by hand, as I can usually get quite a bit of it fairly quickly. When I am sitting waiting for something to tame or waiting for that drop to reach the ground I will often harvest some bushes nearby. Gives me something to do and I get a good amount of fiber. When taming I usually like to clear the big rocks, trees and bushes close by to open my line of sight anyway so I can see if something dangerous is approaching since dino agro currently works on proximity and not sight currently.

I would actually like to see a trade interface just between players.

You know, hold e on a player, select trade.
Both parties place their offers which the other side can see.
Both parties click accept to transfer items.
