Kibbles for feeding or regular stuff? Not for taming.
Will dinos eat kibble to stay full once, after you tame them, like instead of keeping berries or meat in their inventory. If so does it matter which kind or will each dino eat any kibble?

At least right now, it's not really resource-efficient to use kibble for feeding tamed dinos.

Egg drops are pretty horrible (at least for most people) so it doesn't make sense to use up eggs making kibble that's not going to be used for taming.

okay but they will still eat it? It lasts so long and honestly I'm playing in single player for now so I just use the console for it. Haven't got into multiplayer, I'm trying to find a server just right for me. One with max resource health and more than 1x exp gain

I would guess that they would, but if you are generating the items why don't you just try it out? Or generate food that they'll definitely eat?

This question just doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Well, instead of using berries or meat to keep your dinos fed will kibble work the same way?
That's as clear as I can state it... i think anyway haha but thanks!

No, I understand the question you're asking but I don't really understand why. It seems like a weird thing to do. Like I said before, I don't know. I don't think people are using it for this purpose, so you'll probably just have to try it out. Tame a dino, put some kibble in there, and see if it eats it.

If you're just using the console to spawn things, you have the power to test all this out for yourself.

Yeah I tried literally a min before I posted. Just wanted to see if anyone else knew anything. The stuff lasts a long time so rather than having to put food in them more often. I think it works but they'll eat regular food first if their carrying.

also, the kibble stacks up to 100 and raw meat stacks up to 20....herb berries stack up to 100 so it makes sense to want to be able to have the same feeding stack amount for your Carnos, so....this is a completely legitimate question. i would also like to know for sure.

I believe they do. In SP if you don't mind cheating to get it, then go ahead. Most people won't use kibble to feed them though.
