Flying ants are killing the game

These flying ants, Titanomyrma Soldier, just broke the whole game. These things are everywhere, you can't even gather enough material to build a small house, they will kill you before. For a new player that log in to a server, it has no chance of surviving and growing. For me, these things are too much.

I know that they are trying to improve the game and add contents, especially for higher level, but these things are really bad. If they want to attract new players, they did it wrong.

They are place holder spawns for all the insects they are planing to add. They are going to tone them down in the 188 patch though.

Agreed. I'm no lowbie.. but omg. they are everywhere and the Dossier said they aren't suppose to attack unless provoked... well guess what. they are attacking without any provocation!

everywhere you go.. ants ants and more ants... and they will follow you clear across the island!!! I mean c'mon.. they went past hordes of dinos chasing me.. and I mean i literally ran much further than any other animal would chase.

I hate ants IRL, and i hate them even more in the game.

I'm happy because it's RAIIIIIIIIINING chitin xD but yeah, I must say I can see this becoming annoying for newbs and low lvls without any real guard dino to protect them.

No seriously though why everytime a player who dies, comes on the forum claim the game is going to be broken or is dead... no most are to busy playing this great game to post that they think the ants are a little OP at the moment, but have more experience or better dinos and are patiently waiting for the next patch where spawn rates will be brought down?

I was trying to tame a carno for a while to defend myself against these flying ants. In the end I failed because a group of them just decided to stay right in front of my carno... I hope in the next patch, there behavious and spawn place are changed.

But that's my point, play this game a while and you will realize how your statement here, proves it's you and not that game that has a problem. I'm sorry it's tough for you, I'm sorry you lost that carno you tried to tame, but I'm not sorry these seem hard to you, because to anyone with experience in this game, they are a minor nusience and that is all and to nerf them more then decrease the spawn would make them just annoying.

I have to agree, I'm no newbie either, but get killed time upon time upon time... They are SUPER op. We've never had a problem with chitin, there are tons in caves. But these.... The wiki stated they will mind their own buisness if not provoked.. Not true! -At all!

Man you guys must be running into some ants on steroids... I wear all primitive hide armor and these ants hit like pillows. I take almost no damage from them, I don't understand why everyone is crying about them at all.
