Dinos Eating Cooked Meat

Ever since the update that biased dinos towards the food with the lowest nutritional value, I can no longer keep it on my dinos without them eating all of it. Is this an intended feature? Even if it is, can it please be changed so that dinos won't eat cooked meat anymore?

Make jerky.. A dino is not supposed to be a fridge

While realistic I think the devs kinda messed up here, animals sould be biased towards eating their staple diet, for tamed carnivores raw, prime, then cooked.

I ask that this please STAY AS IT IS!! I only put cooked meat on my dinos as a stack of 60 raw meat will last a few hours maybe on a dino as food. But a stack of cooked meat will last 2 DAYS on a dino as food so less maintence.

I do not want my dinos eating all the raw meat I'm farming on them to cook. I mean do you really cook that much meat on a campfire that you MUST put it on your dino>>>>????

Make an industrial grill and just cook all your meat then it doesn't matter. It's easy enough to farm raw meat for taming when you need it.

The description on the tooltip says WILD animals prefer raw meat over cooked meat. Cooked meat lasts longer and has uses in multiple recipes, including the new kibbles. Whether or not your TAMED pets prefer cooked meat over raw meat is irrelevant. Feed them whatever you want. The reason they made them select the lowest "quality" meat is to keep them from burning through the raw prime while you farmed it.

Although to be honest all my animals go nuts when they smell me cooking meat, even though they don't get any since its not healthy to feed turtles, or any other reptile for that matter hamburger, raw or cooked.

And this says nothing about my German shephered that tries to help me cook the meat lol.

SO Im kinda split on the issue (lol)

@Defective My dinos have never eaten prime meat before, so either it's a bug on my end or on yours, they still should not eat cooked meat in any form, prime or not

@Defektiv Did they eat prime over raw no matter what? (I can't remember). I don't see why it can't work the same as with different stacks of the same food, they eat from left to right, move your prime to the right. Simple.

Tamed dinos ate raw prime first when the game was released. This was patched out very quickly.
