Change max level? (For your server)

The max level is 71, i was wondering how do i change it to 100? or higher?

I don't think you can. Until a level cap of 100 has been implemented into the game that is.

You first need to write a whole list of the default xp / engram points until 71 and then just continue as high as you want it in your server's game.ini

I did a guide for someone else who was asking the same question. here.

And yes it works for Local play as well, just goes in a slightly different location than it does for dedicated server. You'll want .\SteamApps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor rather than where I point to in my guide linked above.

Thank you very much. So If I want only cap my level I use one line of levels and Dinos will go to server default cap? Do you know what max lvl dino you can have on local?

Yes if you only do the one line, dino's will default to game defaults. I'm not aware of what the current Dino max level is, I assume they upped it when they added 4 more levels for players.

Depends on what you want. Personally i wouldn't go to far with dino levels as every level makes them even more powerful against the enivornment. On my server i'm going the opposite way and drastically reduced the levels tamed dinos can get so they are more balanced against the environment

Yes you can copy the server's setting from the GameUserSettings.ini from the Server Manager for use in single player/local. Works just fine for me. You may have to reset your graphics and sound settings if you copy the whole file and not just the server settings. You want just the stuff under the heading [ServerSettings] ;-)

Hey, I'm trying to raise the level cap of my server, all the server setting work in ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsServer\GameUserSettings.ini (like 20x gather,tame and all that good stuff)
but i can't get game.ini to work on the server? I have coped and pasted the same 2 folders to the local play and the level cap work straight away \SteamApps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

I have tryed the codes in both the server \ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsServer\GameUserSettings.ini and game.ini

And the other server file but actually where the game is installed

Steam\SteamApps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsServer\GameUserSettings.ini and game.ini

It's like the server won't or don't want to read game.ini but local play does ? Any ideas ?

hellow i do hope i cant contat you Hazen but i have a question, i have my own server true paying gameserver, but to problem is i cant seem to find how to add more lvls, i did downlaoded youre link from Ark server Management but idk if it could work that way, ive been looking on google to find some answers but with no result, any change u might help me? thanks in advance
