3ish hours to tame a level 18 Ankylo, WTF
My friend and I knock out a level 18 Ankylo around 10:45pm. Load it up with Narcotics and Mejo Berries and take turns farming around it and keeping an eye on it. Well around 12:25am it had just passed 50ish% taming. Come on 3 hours to tame really? It would not have finished until around 2am. We had to kill it and log off, very disappointed. Previously I tamed a level 15-18 carno with very little prime meat 1-2 in about an hour. Is this how long it will take to tame without kibble?

Thats how long its always been taking on a Anky.. Tamed a 50 or 60 one a time ago took over 5 hours.. They are insane strong.. If you level it up a bit the right way it rapes everything on land and in the water.. So the time it takes to tame one of those is how it should be.. Anky win easy vs a mounted trex

I believe they reduced the amount from normal Raw Meat and Berries but overall, yes, the Ankylo takes a damn long time to tame. Even before the Patch.

If you and your friend don't want to tame that long or just dont have the time for that, search or rent a server on your own and reduce the taming time :)

Yeah ankylo is the 2nd longest herbivore to tame.

They reverted the taming speed nerf when the forums collaped under complaints. BTW try getting Kibbles before trying next time they are 40% faster than Raw prime meat is and if my math is correct using the Ankylo prefered kibble will do that 3 hour tame in 1 hour, 4 minutes and 17 seconds.
