Server option to reduce fertilizer consumption?

Hi,
is there a server option to reduce fertilizer consumption?

The answer interests me.

Do I need to be near the box, so that fertilizer is produced?
If I'm offline one day 3 bags fertilizer are gone. I need more fertilizer.

Tame a bunch of low level herbibores for the poop and build a dozen compost bin. 2 fertilizer last a day so if you know you'll be out for more time, just put more bags.

with poop from a couple of Rex/Spinos there is no problem, but it seems as if that does not continue producing fertilizer, when I'm out of range. Or the boxes are bugged

Ooh it does. It just :

1- has to have 50 thatch or more
2- contain 3 of the same kind of poop (human, small, medium, large)
3- 50 minutes without removing any of the component.

One thing for sure, it works without anyone nearby.

It does create the Fertiziler even when you're not around.

"the same kind" is actually inaccurate, but the rest is true. :)

I've tried different things and I couldn't confirm that part. It didnt seem to work at first with different kinds when I first tried it on a previous server so i just followed that part. Tamed a bunch of parasaurs (phiomias don't seem to poop lately) and put all medium poops.

The Dodos are actually real poop-machines. I got 6 Dodos and can easily fill 4 compost bins with 6 poops each.

annoying factor is taht you have to gather poop for half the day to sustain 10+ plots
