Where to find scorpion eggs?

Hey everyone, been flying around the mountains and inland rivers on my ptera for 2 hours, and still didnt find a single skorpion egg...
starting to get a little frustrating, taming doesnt seem to help either(so far only ever saw 1 egg from my mate boosted t rex couple that i have had for days, i assume i wouldnt be much diffrent for skorpions)

sooo how would one best go about finding skorpion eggs reliably?

On a place where most of the scorpions are. Caves. Pretty sure theres higher chance to find their eggs there because eggs spawn near the creatures that lay the eggs and there are ton of scorpions in caves so try to find some there. :P .

been in 3 caves, only thing i accomplished is killing my sabertooth.
some scorpions in there but no eggs

Its not 100% spawn to every single scorp you find. The only way to find scorp eggs is to be near scorps. I have some tamed dinos near my base and they laid 2 eggs (Para and raptor) even without the 200% chance to spawn buff. Now it must be insane. Maybe instead of flying around try to tame 3 or 4 scorps, put them in your base and they will lay eggs after some time. Or keep looking (caves are probably still best place because 100% chance to spawn scorps) and wait there until they lay some :D .

one thing you forgot they have no gender so they wont get the boost thats needed for eggs...= no eggs on tamed scorps atm

and they lay eggs. Picked up 3 already from tamed pets.

Yeah in this patch they added eggs to some creatures that were missing it :P

Edit: there is boost needed for eggs? Was it addded in a recent patch or is it there since beggining? Because my dinos in my base are there alone (I have only 1 dino each specie i have) and they laid eggs. And im pretty sure no raptors were wondering around lol eird.

Not scorpions. Para (female) and Raptor(female) both laid eggs even tho they are the only of their species nerby lol

so i tamed 3 pairs of scorpions(3 male 3 female) and didnt get a single egg from them yet, they're all mate boosted.
This is kinda disappointing... just let us set our tamed dinos in breeding mode or something... 500% increased dmg taken but boning each other like crazy

I have 2 male and 1 female scorp all sitting passive in a triangle mate boosted. One of the males has laid 2 eggs. *shrugs*
