Remote Keypad not working
I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but I assign pins to certain things (like lights) and when I use the keypad only 2 of the 8 lights turn on/off. I've checked to make sure that they are all on the exact same pin but it just wont work. Even placed next to a door it wont open/close the door.

All the lights are on the same electric network as the remote keypad, and everything does have power going to it.

Can you please give some more information about your setup, and perhaps what configuration you used to achieve this result? I.E., did you place specific objects before/after the keypads, do you have any screenshots/video of what's happening, etc?

I've done like a million tests on the live game and every single time the keypad works just fine unless I misconfigured something in regards to pins, didn't get the distances right, etc.

I have same problem with keypad. Keypad works only when I build new keypad and lights, after server restart is not working anymore and I have to build new one.Ligts and keypad are in same room with wooden wals. Everything is powered from one source.I am using codes like 1111,2222 and so on

And it works only when I build first keypad then lights.

I've noticed that this problem sometimes occurs after updates. For example, you place down 2 lights, update comes out, place another 2. Sometimes the first 2 won't work with the keypad, they only work if they are destroyed and replaced. Also, I've noticed it sometimes happens when a section of wiring is destroyed, even when replaced, it still doesn't work. Hope this might help in discovering the real issue.

OMG!
I am having the EXACT same issue...

I have tried multiple pins and configurations.
Half my base works, the other doesn't.

What I believe the issue is, is the Pin Code commands aren't being set across tile borders.
I can supply video if you need TheRightHand.

I've uploaded a video of the issue, so all the command pins are just 1111. 4 of the lights are all on the same looped network and they do all have power going to them, only 1 of the 4 lights activates/deactivates. I've drawn a diagram of the circuit too, indicating which lights turn on.

Were having a similar issue with Keypads. My brother built his part of the base and wanted to open and close all of his doors via keypad rather than manually (He has alot of doors). He built the structure after I built my house and placed a keypad. Not one of his doors worked when pin coded (before pad was placed) but he could control all of my lights and doors. The keypad is next to his doors, but my base is on the other side of the hill so it cant be a distance thing I think, unless something is really wonky.

Right hand, could you perhaps let us know what the order is we should be placing the kleypad or objects in for future reference? Also, I want a remote for my gate that works on the pins, that works the same as the keypad but I can carry with me :)

Thanks

Yes, remote keypad which can carry will be awesome. First of all mount/dismount button should not be same as open gate button. Opening gates on T-Rex is so annoying

Yeah if we could just change the buttons for Open/Close and dismount or mount that would be a step in the right direction already.

Hey Xandan, was that made on a custom server? Mind sending me the savefile?

Lat: 46.9, Lon: 52.7

I should point out though, I have tried fully completing the circuit and it didn't effect anything. Hope it helps :)

Been having issues with the keypad as well. Turning on lights with it but not being able to turn off the same lights and lights that are within a couple feet of the remote keypad not functioning correctly either. Clearing/resetting pin codes doesn't fix it. @Jat thanks for looking into this.
