Alpha Megapithecus/broodmother with a theri army?
So i mutated two stacks of mutations one stack 20 melee and one stack 20 Health mutations to fight the Beta dragon to get the transmitter to easily locate high level dinos with S+. These are really the first times i have ever attempted boss fights, obviously i need to tame up a couple daedons at least to breed a decent one but should i be able to take on all the Alpha bosses with this army? I know that megatheriums are recommened for the broodmother and Rexs for the Megapithecus but i really don't feel like taming or remutating a whole new set of creatures

I did manage to beat the beta dragon but all i had left was my Imprinted Yutyrannus and 3 Theris but that was heavily due to his fire damage

Giving your theris health that is too high probably contributed to the problem. The fire breath takes % health each time. If their health is too high your sweet veggie cakes can't heal them in time to save their lives. After about 25, 000 health, I would level melee only. I took 9 theris, 9 rexs, a yuty and a daedon. There were no losses.

Alright noted i think mine imprint up to 23k so ill just put in one or two levels from now on

theri's are the backbone of my army.
They were bred for the dragon and thus I stopped HP at 21K. The dragon's flames do a fixed % damage to health. So i stopped there, as that is the highest health before you dont get any extra benefit from the veggie cakes.

With my Theri army we defeated all three bosses at alpha.

The first couple with some reasonably easy to get ascendant saddles... The dragon also took some ascendant shotguns though.

With that said my breeding line isnt completed so plenty of room for more DPS.
