(Minus nose blocking of course)
Lol it makes perfect sense, because then you'd just being ignoring the 'drawback' to having the overlay in the first place. I mean, personally I think they should just ditch it, because its not like we have to put up with it for flak helms, but w/e.

While it may not make sense, it would give third person an advantage over first. So they would have to get rid of the overlay for all or none.
Drawback? what for? so far the mask add just a bit color, nothing, really nothing else.... i mean the view is still blurred.... so there is really noting usefull in it so far.

The mask makes it easier to see underwater. The drawback is the black outline. If you were able to get rid of the black outline by going 3rd person, you'd be able to get the enhanced vision with no negatives.
I run everything on epic too and i can see as far as i want with and without goggle....
I've not gotten my game patch to see what the view is like yet.....
Why? Many people don't and can't play in first person because of vertigo issues.
No, he wants the overlay borders gone. I'm suggesting just make that area darker. Seems good compromise without turning overlay off for both.
