he also loses his taming if he has aggro activated.
yes i have this problem too :( drops right back down to zero no matter how much i feed it
They tame like Ickys, but will get VERY mad if you look them in the eye or bump them in close space.
After the initial feeding, I watched, waiting in the weeds. I tried to stay behind trees and then after about 30 seconds I repeated the process of feeding the beast another berry.
After several feedings and having made good progress, he did in fact AGRO on me...I ran away, jumped on my raptor, but kept in sight until he calmed. I proceeded my sneak feedings, feeding and retreating, and after a time I FINALLY tamed him. This guy takes patience and perserverance.
TIPS: Run in Feed him by hitting "E" and run away. You really dont need to go far once fed, just enough for him to continue his rummaging in the bushes. You have to feed him multiple times but only ONE berry at a time, then wait for him to be hungry again (just like the ICKY)
It would likely help to have a buddy alongside to deal with external threats like bugs, dilos, etc. Be patient though -- it does work.
