Resources are respawning too quickly
I have the slider setting on 3.0 I believe this is the slowest that you can make the respawn timers? But the problem is every time I leave the area and come back all the cleared areas are back to full capacity with plants and trees rocks etc. I want my server to be pretty bare to force the players to fan out and explore for resources and to fight over territory for what resources are left. It would be nice if the resources wouldn't start to re spawn for several in game days if not weeks to keep the place as bare as possible. Any suggestions?

ResourcesRespawnPeriodMultiplier

Specifies the scaling factor for the respawn rate for resource nodes (trees, rocks, bushes, etc.). Lower values cause nodes to respawn more frequently.

Yeah, don't listen to Shackled up there. 0.1 is 10x spawning speed. The slider is the time it takes to respawn. 0.5 is half the time (so twice the rate). You want long respawns, raise the number.

Even with max respawn times resources still respawn in no time at all. I kinda wish there was a setting level to make them take real time days or even weeks to respawn. If I clearcut a hill I want it to stay clearcut for a good long while.

Ah yeah, i guess that does make a little more sense sorry. I'm thinking in terms of "respawn rate"

ResourceNoReplenishRadiusPlayers=<.1>

Allow resources to regrow closer or farther away from players & structures. Values higher than 1 increase the distance around players and structures where resources are allowed to grow back. Values between 0 and 1 will reduce it.

does anyone know where I can find this settings in the ini file? I belive this will help prevent crap from growing back so fast as well.

No problem. It's actually kind of annoying. A LOT of config settings are logically backwards, but not ALL of them.

It goes in Game.ini, with a header. You have to add both, as the file defaults to blank.

\Config\WindowsServer\Game.ini

[/script/shootergame.shootergamemode]
