Well, that might be a bit of a problem. currently i'm a level 26, and my only flying dino just died. The alpha raptor is currently guarding all my arrows and narcotics, and it killed my main way of gathering berries.
Would trying this method with a turtle also work? or would it be too risky?
A mammoth with at least 5000 health and 300% or more damage could probably kill any alpha raptors . The knock back will keep the raptor from successfully hitting you everytime .
Or a high level trike could probably do it . Or a medium lvl Anky also .
But you have to be riding your animals if you want them to have the best chance of killing Alphas . If you`re not riding them they`ll most likely lose . Just hop on it and give it everything you got . Don`t try to run because if you do , you`re giving the raptor the advantage . It`s a fight to the death .
The raptor is on the shore. and my turtle is already positioned half way in the water. but i believe i got the raptor far away enough for now. ive also retrieved my stuff, so thats a plus. thank you for the tips guys.
I dont own a rex.
If you have an Alpha near your base, set the Dimorphodons on them. Problem solved!
Maybe try the tactic with the dimorphodons too. A handful of them would be hard for it to hit. And you can stand back and take pot shots while they keep it busy.
