Even wall-building on uneven ground (underwater) help?
Hey.
Is there a way to build even walls with uneven ground in water?
I'm trying to get a nice place for water-mounts near our base, but the walls are uneven because the ground is uneven.

I'm trying to get the top end of walls being all on 1 level, is that possible?

Ceilings & pillars allow you to place walls downwards so you have a even water base. Your welcome

A bit of advice I'd like to offer is that water pens are a huge hassle, not building them so much as it is parking your water dinos in them. If you're playing on a PvE server I suggest you find vacant semi shallow bay areas and observe them for a bit to see if sharks visit them. You will be able to find bay area around the coast that is 100% safe to leave water dinos at for however long. From there you can build a pier to establish that you park your dinos there.
lol building a huge dam across water is no hassle really. i can dam off the deepest river or bay mouth i put a belmoth gate in center of the channel, then put one foundation on each side and join 2 ceiling tiles to it then you need a piller to go to bottom reapeat this till you are built out to gate, last part build wallsfrom ceiling tiles down to bottom(there will sometimes be gaps at bottom put offset fence and wall to cover gap.

Okay. I built a square out of ceilings and pillars. The I made walls down on both sides. And have a new small issue. I can't place a gate anywhere.

just deal with an uneven wall, its more about what it does than how it looks when it does it

Destroy where you want the gate and you should be able place fence foundations on top of that area. Then place the gate on top of those.

Key word: Should

I've never done this before but you can place fence foundations on other places besides the ground.

I did the pillar/ceiling thing. Looks great, but not perfect. Any way to cover the lower part completely? I have holes at the botton because walls can't be clipped into the ground.
