5-6 agreed, it's not just so they can't climb the wall it's so they can't even see your dinos.
Alpha dinos can destroy stone walls and even someone with metal walls doesn't want an Alpha Trex waiting for them outside the gate because he saw your tasty dinos.
but i'll go with 5 high then :)
4 high keeps all current dino's out as far as I know. But I'd go with 5 high to keep any wild dino from even spotting your dino's.
Really hate the look of everyone doing this though, but I get it - its way less resource cost for a much MUCH larger coverage area /sigh...
They certainly did, the difference it actually made though? That Rex has to hit the wall 3 times now rather than just once.
Unless you built in the middle of the island the chance a Rex will see your Dino's and destroy your base is very small.
kill them. most Alphas i have run into are low lvl. Yes metal will stop them so will a few turrents or a decent pack of tamed Dino's
