1. build a covered pen, if theres a roof then wild argents wont see anything to agro
2. set all dinos to passive, and then change specific dinos to neutral (strongest ones, ie rex spino) to be neutral, to guard the rest
3. pretty sure the turrets wont start attacking a wild argent unless it actually attacks something, so your dinos would need to be right next to the turret etc.
how is the damage of a turret vs dino damage?
because all other guns suck vs dinos...
sometimes they just land and walk arround our base, sometimes they attack a dino and get instant killt - how does the aggro system work in this game?
though if your high dmg guards dont kill it, your other dinos are unlikely to dent it, and if all your dinos go into attack, your weaker ones will die first, and if theyre all in a clump, it will harvest the dead dino while attacking other dinos, thus healing it.
youre actually more likely to kill the alpha if only your attack dinos attack it, not all of your dinos, to limit its ability to heal by eating
the aggro system is that wild dinos are literally set to wander, and have a set aggro range that tends to differ by dino. if the dino has line of sight within its aggro range it will go to attack
But your still gona have the same problem with the dinos trying to eat the corpse without a roof.
This true except for in the case of the flying dinos. Argents and Pteras (maybe some others) take that bonus damage from ranged weapons, making most of them pretty effective at killing those, especially the longneck rifle.
it is north west - east side of the red obelisk mountain - you cant fail it. i love that place :D
