You sure about that? Last night a tribe mate's game crashed while he was flying, he logged back in having fallen to his death, hours later we find his bird, it's actually still up in the air where he would have DC'ed, only it was sitting in mid air as if having landed there.
Thanks for that info but I still wan't to sit on a big pile of HP while I reconnect. Otherwise it goes from an easy spinokill to a relog to mourn your death saber or whatever dino you whe're using (yes I like the passive setting)
Devs - please fix this.
Yeah, i wish it could be true... but it is not. And never was so, and never was announced to be so.
Birds do drop you off the second you become sleeper/get tranqued. And only then they do land. If you are not high - you may survive the landing and grab the bird back. If you are too high... well, cross the fingers that the bird will survive for long till you recover it.
And there are no such things as 100% garantued connection ;)
Yes they do. I've always come back from a server disconnect whilst flying, to find myself and my bird safely on the ground.
something killed him on the ground, it sets you on the ground under your mount if you disconnect.
