Help with the game user settings.ini

hi all i have rented a ark server now i like to add things like

ServerCrosshair
MapPlayerLocation
EnablePVPGamma
AutoSavePeriodMinutes=15
ClampResourceHarvestDamage

but if i put these in the GameuserSettings.ini @ the dir: \ShooterGame\Saved\Config\CleanSourceConfigs\

it dont work

some forums says u must have this DIR: ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsServer

but that file contains other info then the command here is a copy of that file

(above is more info but are server passwords etc so i didn't included those)

but also in this DIR: \ShooterGame\Config\ is a GameUserSettings.ini

so there are about now 3 GameUserSettings.ini all forums say different dirs and so on bit confusing so thats why i am posting this topic in hope someone can give me some info which file i have to adjust and if i have to put =true/=false after the crosshair etc

So like ServerCrosshair=True

something like that

Ok...so you can just go below your [session settings] and add this


[ServerSettings]
ServerCrosshair=True


This will give you the cross hair option...many other options can be utilized to add to the server. If there is no command in this section for the variable it will just go to default I believe.

I host my own dedi and the config file (GameUserSettings.ini) is here, and has all of those setting you mentioned (I've had the same file for ages so maybe things have changed over time):

\Steam Games\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsServer

I can tell that file is in effect by using showmyadminmanger in the game itself (to see that settings I've made are echoed there).
