Industrial Grill

I do NOT like how the industrial grill works. I'm sorry, but NO GRILL would ever use gasoline, and cmon.. OIL, Metal Ingots and Cementing Paste for something that can be made out of stone and something that LOOKS stone.. Make it use WOOD or CHARCOAL (Like a GRILL WOULD), or even Sparkpowder.. (If you cook with gasoline your food will taste like crap in RL). Also, make it droppable in the wild (THATS RIGHT, make it craftable using stuff you can get in the wild and droppable in the wild so you can COOK PRIME as you are taming.)

Another really stupid thing about the grill is you can just build lots of campfires and do the same thing cheaper and faster.

Charcoal would be nice if we could use it. I have a full chest of that ♥♥♥♥, and it doesn't stack to 200 like most of the other stuff. Would like to be able to use it in more than gunpowder and paint.

Grill can cook 14 meat in 20s !
I've made something like 470 steack in 12min with only one gasoline !

And i agree that gasoline is not good for cooking in real life, but come on, they will not add different ressource for each engine...

And we already use ton of charcoal to make dye and look fabulous !

A friend has built a charcoal grill. The grill is made of stainless steel and looks like a table. He can grill 30 steaks on it. At the same time!

Ingame Grill looks like a fireplace. :(

I use 5-6 campfires next to each other again.

Its a survival game, doesn't matter how it tastes like as long as it decreases your hunger. :)

Actually if I am not mistaken propane is made from petroleum (oil) so it is from the same source as gasoline. So is kerosene, but it is a much less volitile product than gasoline, and not a gas like propane (propane is a liquid under pressure, such as in your propane tank). So maybe they should just change gasoline to kerosene, and it could be used as a fuel in the multi-grill as well as the generator?

The crafting requirements definitely don't match with it's appearance.
And honestly I think it should have more options in terms of fuel, but have different effects.
For example if you cook with wood, it cooks them a lot slower and less efficient, but still more efficient than a regular campfire.

I'm just hoping that they will add more options and fix up the crafting requirements, because at the moment it makes little sense... Even by videogame standards (so don't you say nothing. You know who you are.)


But I still love this game so far.
So it's good that this is the only item in the game that I have felt compelled to question, rather than simply nod and accept. And you can blame the Australian side of me for wanting a believable barbecue grill in my game. ^.=.~
