Industrial Grill
I do NOT like how the industrial grill works. I'm sorry, but NO GRILL would ever use gasoline, and cmon.. OIL, Metal Ingots and Cementing Paste for something that can be made out of stone and something that LOOKS stone.. Make it use WOOD or CHARCOAL (Like a GRILL WOULD), or even Sparkpowder.. (If you cook with gasoline your food will taste like crap in RL). Also, make it droppable in the wild (THATS RIGHT, make it craftable using stuff you can get in the wild and droppable in the wild so you can COOK PRIME as you are taming.)

I don't know about you or your life.. but I use propane in my grill IRL.. which is a form of gasoline?

ummmm. alot of grills use propane. propane is a natural gas. your food does not taste like propane. must be magic, right?

when this was first listed in upcoming notes i assumed it would be powered by gasoline. the name is "Industrial" not "Backyard Barbeque" although i would not mind seeing a more simple grill as a lower tier item. Sort of like a simple Weber grill, and have it use less mats, and run on coal.

EDIT: i do think your right though on one point. the thing does look like its made of stone and looks like its burning wood. heh.

What these guys said and quite honestly, we are riding F***in DINOS man, just maybe give the game a little leeway because you clearly did when you said "I'm going to purchase a game where I ride dinos in a large space biome created by aliens!"

Ok but why does it need crystals? And why does it have all that wood everywhere if it wont use wood. But most importantly why in the world is it so huge? You have to be a giant to get to the grill part. It seriously need to cut down in half and allow wood, maybe have the wood cook it at its normal time with gas being quicker time.

Gasoline and propane are two different things. LIQUID GASOLINE burns too hot and has too many byproducts to cook food with. Unlike propane, it is a SOLVENT. If a single drop gets on your food, the food is screwed, as it's corrosive.

It looks like a stone firepit that you'd put in your back yard. Those are generally powered by wood, propane, charcoal or natural gas. Gasoline, is not what you would use. It would actually destroy anything you cook with it.

The only reason the devs made it cook with Gasoline, is so that only high leveled players can really make use of it. Which is STUPID. A barbecue grill is one of the simplest means of cooking anything. The ONLY way one could use GASOLINE is if it heated up an inner chamber with the gas and had a seperate exhaust for the gas... In which case, its not a grill, its a convection oven, with an incredibly dangerous heating element.

Either way, this object should be avalilable at the same time stone buildings become available and should be powered by ANY and ALL of the fuels used for COOKING, not for powering generators.

Something inbetween a stone ring fire place and an electrical mass cooking stove/oven would be nice.

lol it uses gas? Bit odd, but I guess they needed another item that actually used gas

This is a place holder model , Drake has explained this already. :)

When they said they were adding a grill, I was like "cool, charcoal will have a use" but no, they had to make it use gasoline.....

You can get gasoline once you get a forge, which is level 20, which isn't 'high level' imo.

Yep -- a simpler cooking grill with 5-6 slots and intermediate cooking time would provide a great secondary use for charcoal.

oh boy.

Go cook 2 separate steaks, 1 with clean propane and 1 with gasoline you siphoned from your car.

After you get out of the hospital tell us how they tasted.

Loving the actual grill itself.. Getting about 14 Meat per Tick cooked or something like that.

Now we just need an Industrial Furnace to make Metal Faster so i dont have to have a house with 5-10 furnaces for the amount of metal i mine. Even if it only Made 5 Metal Ingot Per tick it would be good :)
