Taming a Stego, wiki is ambiguous about which berry.

So taming Stego at the moment, and on the Stego's wiki page it says it likes Mejoberries:

Yet on this table it says it likes Azulberries:
http://ark.gamepedia.com/Taming#Taming_Table

In game when placing both in it's inventory it eats the Mejoberries first, but maybe this is a trick! I can force it to eat Azulberries by removing the Mejos.

Anything definitive on this?

Just a bump from yesterday, still want to clarify this. Gave up on that Stego by the way, turns out it was going to take like 9 hours and I had to go to bed.

Technically, each herbivore has a berry it prefers over the others, but all will eat Mejoberries first. Mejoberries I believe have also been datamined to find they provide maybe 33% or so additonal speed to the tame. So basically, make egg kibble for the dino, or give them Mejoberries.

A level 1 stego should only take 2 hours or so to tame. I use mejoberries myself and Narcotics not narcoberries. I feel like narcoberries drop the taming effective %. Narcotics does not. You can also try the stimulant/narco trick to get them to eat faster.

The majority love Azul and Mejo, use that as your rule of thumb for herbivores.

Like some have said, if you want to be really sure, grab berries of each type and put them on its inventory, then keep an eye on which berry it eats. That will let you know the berry it prefers.

The devs have said for the moment unless the latest patch changed it, ALL herbivorse prefer Mejo berries and will eat them firs tover all other berries. Because its an EA game so much changes so often the wiki can't keep up. That and you need peole to edit the wiki responcibly and not put stuff up from word of mouth. Any edits I have made have video links to what the devs have said before hand.

Yea this guy was a level 90. Mistakes were made!

I didn't even realise till I'd taken it down, I just wanted it for the pretty colours that is was. :P
