Where to find sabertooth high level? 60+?

So for two days (about 4h each day) I've been going around the mountain areas to find myself at least a level 60+ sabertooth and have not been able to find at least one. I've found the highest level of all other dino's such as a lvl 90 rex but a sabertooth higher than 33... ?

Usually they are in groups of 3 with the level 6, 9 or 12. Sometimes there is a level 33 in there as well but that's it.

Am I just unlucky or am I not looking at the right place?

Anywhere they spawn and cross your fingers. Found an 83 near the mountains yesterday

Shorter to say, I'm just having bad luck? I ran around each search period with about 400-500 meat on my scorpion and by the time I gave up the meat was under 80.

Growing tired to find one.. :-)

Can't carry Sabers unfortunately which doesn't make much sense.

High lvl spawns are rare and random. You've just been remarkably unlucky!

Just kill the sabers that u see is low lvl, then new sabers will spawn and have a chance to give you higher lvls.

Best place I found was the mountain on the centre of the northern coast.

Got multiple lvl 80+ cats there, though they do spawn anywhere that cats spawn.

Island in the NE or the northern most mountain, is sort of north and east, the one without an obelisk, though the red obelisk mountain can often have some high levels as well.

ours swam across no prob with 1 of us on saddle and still had plenty of stam left

That's where I've been a lot, but all the time low level cats.

I kill all the cats I see but no luck yet.. guess i'm just unlucky then.. :(
