Any way to make single player time continue while "logged off?"
Just curious if there is a way to keep the clock running while i'm not playing because for single player it's a pain in the ass to farm when time stops after i shut the game down. i will likely eventually play on a server, maybe even start my own server but for now i'm in SP. Thanks in advance for any advice and please be gentle, i bruise lol.

best i could think off, would be to make your own private dedicated server so to speak (and just join it to play)

clock cannot really tick when your offline, without somehow simulating dinos etc. Offcourse they could in theory make it so the clock keep on ticking but only dino food / plant timer are affected but well, that would be kinda cheaty !:P

yeah, i suppose. just sucks that right now i don't have much access to the veggies and plants that you can only get from farming because the amount of time it takes. i would have to either be playing that long or leave my game running while i'm gone which would then leave me to starve....

Make your own private server.

I'm starting to think that's what i'll have to do.

does anyone know if you are able to take survivors/dinos/items from SP to unofficial servers or does it only work the other way around? I haven't tried this yet again because i ran into a bug last time that forced me to make a new survivor and i lost everything.

I guess they could make the game take the time between you loading and the last time you quit and run a simulation of what happend between. It would make loading times a lot longer though.
