doesn't work i swam as far as my stamina let me to
^ this you have to basically do a 360 degree on land and it might get unstuck. however i just had a lvl 33 Dolphin refuse to get unstuck because he was basically outside of the water completely.
for some unknown reason they only way to get a water dino to get unstuck is by going directly on land and have it follow you. this will cause it to start turning towards you and helping it get unstuck. but it's a bug because it only works on land because in water they don't even turn at all to follow you if they are stuck.
as long as they are within a reasonable water to land ratio they should get unstuck but when they are 99.9% outside of water it's a waste of time.
yeah its pretty much a waste of time. go to the gult region. it's like the gulf of mexico. located near the northeast heading towards Far's Peak Mountain and the North East Shores. it's basically two strips of land with a lake in the middle which creates a little gulf of mexico.
you'll find plenty of dolphins there to tame underwater. if there's sharks there be sure to kill them so that you can tame and pick the highest level dolphins.
it's a real shame i couldn't get the lvl 33 stuck dolphin. oh well i guess my lvl 7 will have to make do for now.
*Note: You musn't have the Ich set to either wander or follow you.
