Is there a way to preserve Berries other than In Dinos?
I don't know if Preserving Bin can but even if it could i rather they store meat anyway. If there isn't i hope the dev makes a Preserving Bin alternative for storing berries. i really hate having my Trike, Stego, and Turtle hoarding thousands of Red, Blue and Yellow Berries and then my spider is carrying the 700 Mejo Berries so my Dinos dont eat all the Mejo Berries (i only use them for taming not feeding my Dinos). :(

Preserving bin can store berries

There is a fridge that can store your berries for a long long time, but it comes on later level, but it's worth it !

Preserving Bin + Spark powder... keeps berries fresh.

Well but either way the bin and fridge are best for storing meat anyway. I already have like 5 Bins full of meat.

i do hope the devs make like a greenhouse that is just for storing berries for long periods of time and then the bin and fridge are only for meat.

My only other suggestion is to just make them into narcotics and not try to hold onto them for long periods as berries and narcotics don't effect taming in any way.

... really a greenhouse would be meant to GROW berries not for storing berries and if you grow the mejo berries they last alot longer on the plants but the Bin works fine for both there is no need for them to make a diffrent bin for berries

Tame a bronto, he's my berry storage.

As for storing them for long periods of time, whats the point? You can gather infinite amounts of berries with a trike or stego. The way the spoil system works, it only spoils the first item in the stack, so it will spoil the 100th berry, then the 99th and so on. You should never need to work about storing them really.

berries do have somthing todo with the effectiveness most dinos like mejo more then the others and some of them like the rest more then the mejo so they tame faster

Of course they do, what are you talking about?

And using narco berries lowers the taming effectiveness. While narcotics do not.

You might want to check again that was removed a while back. The only thing now that drops the % is the preferred food type.
You can feed them as many narcotics and berries as you like now and never effect the taming effectiveness

It doesn't. It used to but now narcotics are the equivalent of using 5 narcoberries at once and doesn't spoil. The differences stop there.

u guys aren't understanding. i have 1200 red, 1200 yellows, 600 blues and 700 mejo, everytime i go back to base i use all the narco and stim berries to turn into stimulants and narcotics. as a matter of fact i have 200 narcotics and 200 Stimulants as a result.

what i'm saying is that bins are best used for meat. i mean lets face it Cooked Meat lasts longer than Raw Meat so why should we use bins to store berries when that bin can be filled with cooked meat instead due to its longer spoil time. There should be something like a greenhouse that stores berries so that they get more spoil time than putting them in the fridge. that's my two cents.

also FYI i just made 2 bins to store berries and guess what i practically filled them up already with Blue and Mejo berries and still have 2400 more berries left to store.

if only there was a green house that can store thousands of berries because lets face it berries come in stacks of 100 while meat comes in stacks of 20 (30 if cooked). and considering i have 5 bins full of meat and 2 bins full of berries that means berries take up too much space compared to meat.

I wouldn't worry about storing anything outside of narcos or maybe some tintos. Berries are piss easy to grind back up.

You do know greenhouses are for growing thing in colder climates... If anything it would cause them to rot faster. Preserving bins work by keeping the humidity low and making it less friendly for the bacteria which would cause it to break down faster.
