Shooter game not working and making my macbook pro super slow!

I downloaded ARK: Survival Evolved on my Macbook Pro last night and when i went into it it loaded to the servers but then it would become glitchy and make my macbook pro super slow, nothing would open then i had to wait a little to get out of it then everything went back to normal

Please help, should i delete shooter game and get bootcamp??

I know absolutely nothing about Macs, other than they're not really great for gaming. Try posting more information about the machine, specs and what have you. Saying it's not running well just isn't enough information for people to help even if they do know about Macs.

Your graphics settings when you open ark are likely way too high. I have a mac and a PC but Mac's have crappier graphics cards, ram, and even on a SSD hard drive PC with great ram and graphics card, my computer had a hard time keeping up with the game until i lowered the graphics quality. I would suggest everything low for a mac playing this game.

Trust you are going to have a very hard time playing this game on a mac on higher graphics settings. Why I bought my PC when I started gaming Rome: Total War 2 and other games like that.

Get a refund as you have under 2 hours.

You are using a HD4000 integrated GPU and it won't work.... I don't get why people can't check this before buying?
