Help Unbeach a Megaladon.
Anyone had any succsess unbeaching a mega?
I currently have 1 beached that just wont move (see pic)
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=479258890

Had only just tamed it an went to move it and another shark was waiting and a fight errupted with my newly tamed shark stopping were it is now. I had to kill the other 1 otherwise it would've killed mine.

So if anyone knows a way please share. With or with-out admin codes doesn't matter.

I have tried pushing with other dinos (turtles x2) but they just pass straight through (this used to work).
Ghosting myself then attempting to ride (used admin to get a saddle).
Ghosting while riding.
Nose dive into sand and point towards open water while riding.
Attack enemy water dino to try an lure mine in.
Swim out to deep water (surface an deep) with follow (all commands).

NOTE: DO NOT teleport while riding shark. It will die :(

Almost ready to give up on sharks :(
Seems everytime i get a high level 1 they beach themselfs.

I don't know if you're capable of getting a saddle for it yet or not, but I've found that when they're beached like that, riding them and making them nose-dive into the sand in the direction of open water will get them out. It works for all my Ichthy's anyways.

Thanks for the reply.
I gave that a go but unfortunatly no luck.
A guy on a server I was on had my Stego wack his meg off the beach. Problem is, it was my battle stego so the Meg nearly died.

Tried ssprinting it off in saddle?
On follow?
On neutral and drop a dead fish/dodo in the water?
On agressive and kite something close?

I try to get in front of them and whistle for them to follow me into open water. that seemed to work for a lot of them.

Could a carno be used to knock it back into the water? Alternate attack, right mouse button, will knock an enemy back, provided it has enough health.

Thanks for the replies.
I'll try those out an report back later with the results.

I had that issue with an ichthy and I pretty much gave up on it. Decided to leave it alive and it remained on "follow me" and "attacking target" settings. I ended up getting into a fight with a piranha a few hours later nearby and lo and behold, my ichthy somehow found it in itself to unbeach and defend me lol.

So perhaps try luring an attacking enemy nearby, with your shark on follow and attacking target (even aggressive might work) and see what happens (drawing it out into deeper water of course). I hope you have some luck, it's a bad feeling to get beached.

Ok so I tried a couple of the methods mentioned but then before I tried hitting it with another dino I did something I shouldn't have.
Apart from that the other methods didn't seem to work.

Guess I'll just have to hunt/find another high level shark.
Feels like wash, rinse, repeat with these things lol.
