Sarcosuchus death roll

As we all know, many species of crocodilyd and similar animals often grab their prey and either drown them or use what is known as a "death roll", which involves locking their jaws shut on their victim and violently thrashing around in the water in a rolling fashion in order to rip and tear flesh.

Since the sarco is a slightly less effective alternative to a megalodon, i feel the added utility of a grab attack, similar to that of the current argentavis and pteranodon, would serve to increase the utility of the sarco even more (since it already has a land advantage over the megalodon).

This might give the animal some much needed attention among players, and see them used in pvp much more often.

Now I understand the potential for what the casual crowd would call 'griefing', a la birds picking up and dropping people to their deaths, as all you would essentially need to do is grab someone and drown them with the sarco. However there should be a way to escape the sarco's bite (perhaps by meeting a damage threshold inflicted on the sarco itself).

Very cool idea. I would definitely love the addition of this attack if it was balanced right.

That would be nice but first fix the damn swimming, when i ride a Sarco in the water he can not sprint, at all. When I press the down arrow he swims up, if he cant swim backwards he should just not do anything when I press down.

he doesn't need to sprint. the sarco is plenty quick in the water and doesn't even use stamina while swimming.

true, maybe a short burst of speed in the water that uses a significant portion of the stamina bar would be good. just like crocs in real life ambush animals with explosive power.
